OPI Soft Gel Extensions come with a pre-etched surface, eliminating the need for preparation and allowing immediate application. Their patented design precisely balances the Apex height with the cuticle and tip dimensions, following the Golden Ratio for optimal fit. The edges near the cuticle are crafted to be ultra-thin and flexible, enhancing comfort. These tips are offered in 16 inclusive sizes across 5 distinct shapes, all in a medium length to accommodate various nail preferences.

How To Use

Prep the Natural Nails.

Push back the cuticles and gently remove any dead skin.

Lightly buff the nail surface to remove shine (use a fine-grit buffer) and clean the nails.

Select the Right Tip Size - choose soft gel tips that fit each nail perfectly from sidewall to sidewall. If needed, slightly file the edges for a better fit.

Apply Gel Adhesive

Apply a thin layer of soft gel adhesive (gel base or builder gel) to the natural nail.

Cure under an LED lamp for 30–60 seconds (depending on the product instructions).

Attach the Soft Gel Tip

Apply a small amount of gel adhesive to the underside of the gel tip (where it will contact the natural nail).

Place the tip onto the nail at a 45-degree angle, starting at the cuticle and slowly pressing it down to avoid air bubbles.

Hold the tip in place and flash cure for 10–15 seconds to secure it.

Fully Cure the Nails

Once all tips are applied, place the full hand under the LED lamp and cure for 60 seconds to ensure proper adhesion.

Shape and Finish - Lightly buff the tip surface to prep for gel polish application.

Apply your desired gel polish colour and cure between coats as needed. Finish with a top coat and cure for a glossy, long-lasting result.
